Our 12-Hour Initial Security Guard Training is approved by the Maryland Police Training and Standards Commission. Classes run live online or in person, and for a group we travel to your location. Wherever you train, your certificate of completion is issued the day you finish.
The sessions listed on the form are our live online classes, because those are the ones with fixed dates. To train in person, or to bring a group, contact us and we will schedule a session with you or at your site.
Certification is a separate step from the training. The Security Guard Certification is issued by the Maryland State Police, and only to someone who is employed by, or applying for employment with, a licensed security guard agency or a security guard employer. That agency or employer files the application with the State Police. Wall2Wall cannot provide or arrange that sponsorship, and we do not offer job placement. The State Police list every requirement on their Security Guard Certification page.
